Atticus

Atticus is proud of himself in this picture. He made it on the couch like the other cats with his three legged self. He is starting to go to the second tier of the cat tree and acts like he is in a climbing marathon.

He came to us with a terribly injured legs and after weeks of trying to save the leg Dr Penning reluctantly decided he would have a better life as a tripod. Atticus is black and a tripod and shy. Three strikes as far as adoptions.

He forgave me for changing his bandages and his therapy and he enjoys his daily treats. He will meow outside my bedroom door loudly if I forget them that day. He is a great eater and very patient with the other cats who accepted him from the start.

He is very good with the litter box and I use a low one but he uses the closed one also but not as gracefully. He loves the petting and with his hair growing back his coat is quite lovely.

Life is good for him as everything is healed and the pain he endured with the wound and the surgery is now but a memory.

He walks with a sideways gait but seems to be improving as he becomes used to just the three legs.

And there is someone for him. We believe that.

Thank you for your interest in a Catsnap cat or kitten!

If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.

Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
